Wow, wow, wow! 5 days filled with miracle after miracle. God blessed each of our socks right off at the Miracle Retreat in October. I pray, if you are thinking about joining the YogaFaith family, that you would open your heart, spirit, and soul to allow God IN. Into those innermost spaces and allow a cleansing work! You will experience awesome yoga, training, and instructors, but it is truly beyond yoga!
God’s presence was so thick, nobody wanted to leave. His spirit guided our feet every moment of every day and connected us with an eternal family to do life with! There were many tears and old skins shed, and many, many laughs! Words cannot do our experience together any justice. We left whole, healed, refreshed, and a new person!

The Miracle Retreat brought me freedom. Surrendering my body, mind, and spirit throughout the 5-day retreat opened my heart and allowed me to put my prayers before God in a more fulfilling manner. I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for several years, but until I experienced YogaFaith there was always something missing from my practice. I am so grateful to have found YogaFaith during this season of my life and cannot imagine training to become an instructor any other way. How unfulfilled I would feel, if we just focused on yoga and “the Self.” I feel so blessed to have shared body, mind, and spirit with all the ladies of the retreat.
YogaFaith has come during a unique season of my life; within the next year, I will be transitioning out of the military. Having went to West Point and serving in active duty for over 5 years, having lived in New York, Alabama, Hawaii, and now Washington, and having deployed to Afghanistan, it feels quite overwhelming to figure out what’s next. Over those ten years of service, it’s always been about what the Army wanted next. Simply put, I go where the Army tells me to go and I do what the Army tells me to do. But now through YogaFaith, I feel I can begin to go where God has called me. Though it’s still a daily struggle to put aside the stress and anxiety of my current job and the impending transition, I know there is a new season in bloom. Everyday I feel I gain more courage to step out where God has God me and YogaFaith has started that journey for me. I am very excited for the some of the ideas I have to spread YogaFaith and continue to pray for more direction and strength.
I would not change a thing, it was a truly complete experience. It was so great to have different speakers on things like essential oils, yoga therapy, and yin yoga. You really brought in a great group of women and exposed us to so many different paths we can take our own YogaFaith instruction.
